Here is a table to compare medical items to determine which one is best for you.
To get out of the hospital: use the one that is least over your hospital time. For example, if you have a hospital time of 70 minutes, use morphine; do not take a first aid kit and a small first aid kit. Your cooldown will be 20 minutes with the morphine, 25 minutes with the two kits.

Medical items are available in the faction armory. Make sure to use them during our untermed wars. If you have a med-out deal with someone during a termed war, a Small First Aid Kit is usually enough to get out of the hospital.
